The Refuge
Serenade Ministries is based out of The Refuge in Concord, North Carolina.  The Refuge is a new, fast growing community of believers committed to an authentic expression of "church" in their region.  Tim and Teri's dear friends, Pastors Jay and Melanie Stewart, planted and began pioneering the work in March of this year.  Jay and Melanie not only serve as the lead pastors of The Refuge, but they provide pastoral leadership and covering to Serenade Ministries.
 

The Rock Family Worship Center
This year has been a transitional one for Tim and Teri Furr. After carrying credentials with the Assemblies of God for seven years, Teri has chosen to become a part of a fellowship called “New Life International” based out of Jacksonville, FL. Rusty and Leisa Nelson, pastors of The Rock Family Worship Center in Huntsville, AL, are a part of this fellowship and are directly responsible for Teri and Tim. Leisa Nelson became a mentor in Teri’s life and ministry over 10 years ago, and both she and Rusty continue to be key voices in the life of Serenade Ministries.
 

Prison Fellowship Ministries
Prison Fellowship Ministries is a non-profit, volunteer-reliant ministry focused on one overriding vision: That God's kingdom will be manifested as the redemptive grace and peace of Jesus Christ are experienced by those impacted by crime. Teri’s mother, Raeanne Hance, is the executive director for Prison Fellowship South Florida.
 

Fragrant Oil
A major dimension of Serenade Ministries is found in its support of Fragrant Oil, a worship and intercession conference for women, where Teri is one of the key ministers (along with Dawn Sweigart, Karen Nelson, and their leader, Rita Springer).
 

F.I.R.E.
Fellowship International for Revival and Evangelism. F.I.R.E. School of Ministry serves as a training center for the Jesus Revolution and is devoted to raising up, training, and sending out a holy army of Spirit-filled radicals--ablaze with the fire of God, grounded in the living Word, and equipped in practical ministry experience--who will shake an entire generation with the gospel of Jesus, by life or by death. Teri’s brother, Bob, is the dean of academic affairs and a professor at the school. F.I.R.E. has relocated to Charlotte, NC this year. Tim and Teri plan on being a part of their community.

Rita Springer
Floodgate Records recording artist, Rita Springer, has been encouraging crowds with her heart-wrenching lyrics and honest testimony for over a decade.” Rita is one of the best at what she does. Three years ago, Rita invited Teri to begin traveling with her to conferences and outreach events all over the world. It has been said of them that “Teri preaches like Rita sings.”
 

Nathan Smith
Nathan Smith is the main worship leader at The Refuge in Concord, NC, where Teri and Tim find their church community.  Nathan is a gifted musician with an incredible heart to worship.  His sound is a refreshing call to the deep things of God.
